Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Introduction
Deskbird ("Deskbird", "we", "us"), operated by iBOS Limited, provides a support ticketing platform for teams. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our admin panel, our public ticketing pages and our mobile applications for Android and iOS, how we use it, and the choices you have. The mobile applications access the same Deskbird account and data as the web application.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile data — your name, email address, phone number, job title, role and organization, as held in your organization's Deskbird account.
Ticket and message content — the subject, description, comments, internal notes and chat messages you submit, together with any files, documents or photographs you attach to them.
Photos and files — when you attach a file or take a photograph in the mobile apps, the app accesses your camera, photo library or device storage only for the item you select. We do not scan or upload anything you have not chosen to attach.
Usage data — pages visited, actions taken in the panel, and device and browser information, collected to keep the service reliable and secure.
Diagnostic and crash information — if the app encounters an error, we collect a crash report containing the device model, operating system version, app version and the technical details of the error. Crash reports do not contain the contents of your tickets, comments or messages.
Cookies — used on the web to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as theme. The mobile applications do not use cookies; they store your sign-in credentials in your device's secure keystore.
3. How we use information
To operate and maintain ticket workflows between staff and requesters.
To authenticate users and enforce role-based access.
To send service notifications related to tickets you submit or are assigned.
To monitor, secure and improve the platform, and to diagnose faults.
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Data is shared only within your organization, with staff who need it to resolve a ticket, and with service providers who process it on our instructions under contractual confidentiality obligations: the infrastructure providers that host the service, and Sentry, which processes our crash reports. We configure Sentry not to collect personally identifying information.
5. Biometric unlock
If you enable fingerprint or face unlock in the mobile applications, the verification is performed entirely by your device's operating system. Deskbird never receives, stores or transmits your biometric data.
6. Data retention
Ticket and account data is retained for as long as your organization's account is active, or as required to comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Your Deskbird account is created and managed by your organization's administrator. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your organization administrator, or by reaching us through the "Submit a ticket" link on our site, and we will act on the request.
8. Contact
